Cakes of Joy was founded in 1992 by Joyce Smith. It was a business that branched off of an existing family cake business “Cakes by Carolyn” in Northern Maine. Two years ago Rhiannon, (Joyce’s daughter) started showing interest and also has the creative talent passed down through generations to her. Today the three of us have merged into one growing family business. Our cakes not only look great but they taste great too with our own secret family recipes!
